[SOLVED] LDAP login for users without mail address

Hello there,

I’m using Mattermost Enterprise E10 (Trial) with LDAP as authentication service.
The problem is that some of our AD-users don’t have a mail address.
In this case, Mattermost says: “Couldn’t create ldap-user”.

Is there a way to allow the login for this users?

Hi @reiterbenjamin,

Currently Mattermost requires an email for every user. This is a requirement as LDAP could not otherwise support emails. Let us know if you have any further questions!
