When changes to channels are made or users are added, alerts appear in the chat such as this:
Is there a way to eliminate these or to control which kinds of notifications appear here? These can obviously be deleted, but some of these are not desirable generally and it would be much better to reduce clutter when we have many rooms that are constantly changing.

For all channels, you can use this setting (available in Enterprise Edition): https://docs.mattermost.com/help/settings/account-settings.html#enable-join-leave-messages-enterprise-edition.
Thanks, I guess it’s just not available for us yet generally without enterprise, but even then it’s not what I’d like…
I suppose we need to implement a matrix or series of options to control all of the various notification settings on a per room and global basis.
