Does Mattermost Client App have an updater feature?

Hi,

We are currently in process of deploying Mattermost to mass user in our infrastructure. We want to know if the client app upgrade process is via an updater. Or do we just download the latest client and re-install them on each workstation (over-writing the current client version for each user).

Anyone has mass deployed 400+ clients on windows machine with a tool like Ansible?

Any help is appreciated.

If you are referring to the desktop app, we currently don’t support auto-updating, but there is a PR open to implement this: https://github.com/mattermost/desktop/pull/582.
