After you’ve deployed, if you’d like to contribute back improvements to the documentation they would be highly welcome.
It’s a shame that we need to recompile the Android and iPhone apps to make it work.
It seems like too much of maintenance to do it on our own.
Is it technically impossible to give this ability to the standard mobile apps ? Or is this more a decision related to your business model ?
You can use the hosted mobile apps in iTunes and Google Play for free.
You’d only compile them if you wanted to customize the mobile apps–which requires the self-hosted push notification service, since you’re also self-hosting your own mobile apps.
