Inline Images from Attachment

Hi there!

I miss a function to send an image to someone (drag and drop) or a channel and display it inline, except of showing a very small preview plus a box beside that contains the name of the attachment.
As far as I understood, Inline Images are only possible when using images that are hosted under a HTTP link, inserting it like this: ![alt text](http://image.url), but what about if the image comes from my hard disk?

Is this something that is planned?

Hi @christiananton,

We’re actually improving how file attachments appear on posts right now so that single images will appear much larger than they currently do. You can track the ticket and see mockups on how it should look here: https://mattermost.atlassian.net/browse/PLT-831
